Talk Details:

Obesity and Diabetes are major health conditions seriously affecting the health system both in New Zealand and other western countries. To be aware of the dietary patterns and TCM Ben Biao of these conditions is essential to any practitioner who wishes to assist their client to make healthy choices and progress in both weight and blood glucose balance – both of which impact on a variety of health conditions.

We will look at the key TCM organs which are involved in the process of weight and glucose balance and focus on western foods and supplements which can assist your client’s journey to health in these areas.

If you have any other Dietary Therapy questions or cases outside of this scope please bring them along for discussion. If we have time we can also consider the class attendees personal diet examples and discuss directions for their health.
