AcNZ is the leading professional organisation for Acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine practitioners in Aotearoa.  The Chinese Medicine Profession became a regulated profession in November 2021, legislating that to practice, all Chinese medicine practitioners must be registered with the Chinese Medicine Council and hold a current Annual practicing certificate. All Acupuncture NZ members in practice comply with these requirements. 

AcNZ members are committed to high standards of practice and professionalism.  AcNZ member Acupuncturists are ACC registered treatment providers, able to provide ACC funded treatments. This is also the case with other health insurance providers who include acupuncture in their polices.
