Open days in clinics throughout the week, information evenings, lunchtime talks, a drop-in clinic in a shop window in central Wellington - it has been a very busy week. Members of NZRA throughout the country have worked hard to raise the awareness of acupuncture - and have been very successful in doing just that.
A clinic set up at Hastings Hospital provided an introduction to acupuncture for more than 70 people over three days - many of them clinical staff from the hospital. There is already talk of making the clinic a regular occurrance.
Acupuncture can no longer be dismissed here in New Zealand - increasing numbers of practitioners and increasing numbers of people seeking treatment. We are definitely making a difference.
