Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa

StartTime: Fri 24 June 2011 10:30 am
Location: Wellington

The theme for our 2011 AGM and Conference is "Integrating East and West". Many NZRA members work very closely with colleagues in different streams of medicine.

This weekend will explore how we can use the best of what we each have to offer in the provision of health care for all New Zealanders.

In keeping with our theme, speakers have been chosen from different professions as well as from our own. We will once again be joined by our colleagues from the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association and from the appropriate governmental departments.

Our Keynote Speaker for 2011 is Professor Charlie Changli Xue.  Professor Xue has 23 years of teaching, research and clinical experience in China and Australia. He has been leading the education and research development at RMIT University (Australia) since 1995. Prof. Xue is a member of the Expert Advisory Panel for Traditional Medicine of the World Health Organisation, and the Deputy President of the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria.

As well as the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues from aroun the country, the weekend is also a time to meet with those who provide services and supplies to our profession.
