Approximately 1000 distinguish traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, Western medical clinicians, researchers, educators and holistic health practitioners are expected to attend this unique intellectual symposium sponsored by the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies and China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.  This is the first time this symposium is offered in the Southern USA region.  All individuals with an interest in acupuncture and integrative medicine are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentation.  Abstract submission deadline is May 15, 2014.

ACAOM is delighted to have received full support from the City of Houston, welcoming the WFAS delegates and educators worldwide to Houston.  We believe the collaboration of Oriental and Western medicines will yield a great number of advances and breakthroughs in the treatment of illness, resulting in better health care for all.
